I have always loved the art of the sword, in particular the Katana Sword (or generically known as the 'Samurai Sword') What I love about Katana Swords above everything else, is the shape of the blade. It's curved by design to make it more efficient to use. (the blade will glide through its target with less friction compared to a staight edged blade.)

The Engineering of a samurai sword is a more Hi tech process than you might think. E.g. To make really hard but flexible blades, the blade is folded and hammered hundreds of times. If you can imagine corrugated steel with a hundred folds in 3mm (1/8") thick steel. Amazing ingenuity pioneered by the Japanese.

It was this enthusiasm for Samurai swords that made me want to sell them online.

I started back in 2006 and initially I had a good range of swords at very keen prices. However, because of the items for sale were classed as 'dangerous', Paypal would no longer accept payment on my website. As for taking payment with credit cards, the proccessing companies would not take me on either because of the same reason as above.

So what I decided to do was to source reputable suppliers that will work with me to supply my visitors with good quality Swords. From display swords to hand forged, battle ready Katana's.

All at low prices, and with a great customer service.

A much better service than I could provide working on my own.

My main job now with this website is to review various suppliers and their stock to bring you special insider deals on great quality Samurai swords at warehouse prices.

I aim to have a supplier on every continent so I can supply you swords without having a large shipping cost. (Sometimes shipping would cost more than the item itself, if it came from the other side of the globe)
